Age Concern Leicester

Here at Age Concern Leicester we provide easy to follow courses in computing exclusively for the 50’s and over. They are tailored especially for this age group and cater for those who are absolute beginners up to the more experienced who would like to learn more.
The courses are held at Clarence House, Humberstone Gate in the Computer Suite on the first floor and at Catherine House, Evington in the Training Room on the ground floor.
We have a relaxed and friendly atmosphere here and try to avoid the old classroom appearance. After all do you want to go back to school? So come on board, we will open the world of computers for you. All our tutorials are written in easy to understand English, not computer gobbledygook. We have up to date computers using Windows XP. These courses are suitable for anyone with Windows 2000 or later.
Please note: We do not provide courses in Windows Vista.
The courses are from 6 – 8 weeks and all lessons are 2 hours with a refreshment break. Refreshments are free. Our team of tutors are always there to help and to guide you through any problems you might encounter.
Clarence House courses are usually held:
10 am -
1 pm -
Subject to availability.
Courses for October are now closed. The next set of courses at Clarence House will begin January 2009.
Information will be available in our Reception or on this site from November.

Happy computing.
